Title: 1984 Reynard F2000 - F/C - F/L
Post by: quickmag on April 28, 2010, 03:06:26 PM
Just purchased a complete running 84 Reynard F2000 and its spares.  I know I need the rains and wanted the AIM dash.  My initial idea was to part out the rest.  However considering this car turns about 1 second a lap at Race City faster then me, I have reconsidered.  Anybody need a low cost F2000 with spares?

Should have a complete list in a week or so, once I have the car.  If you are interested in the whole car or have a need for some parts, email me (quickmag@shaw.ca) and let me know.  The car is located in Calgary Alberta, Canada.

Bri. (86 Reynard)

SF84-179.
Car comes with on board fire system, AIM data acquisition system/dash., front wide track drop limited suspension, hydraulic annular ring style clutch throw out, front and rear sway bars (rear is cock pit adjustable), and rear brake bias control.  Nose needs TLC, but there may be a spare (still checking).  Front shear plate is fractured, but car comes with a spare (hence why the nose needs TLC).
Engine with unknown run time, but starts fine, no smoke and 60 PSI oil cold, and has an oil cooler.
Spares include the original front suspension (3 upper rockers and 2 lower A arms), front left upright, rear left upright with bearings/flanges/etc, 7 tire/steering/radius rods, 7 spare gear sets (+4 in the Hewland), 6 spare spring pairs, plus other misc “stuff”.  SCCA and WCMA log books – TBA.

Asking $6850 OBO (Delivery may be arranged)

Is this the model that is really narrow in the driver's thigh region?

Seat is a fiber glass bucket, so depends on how big you make it.  My mold is quite small (no fat a**  jokes please), so yes it form fitting.  But it can be larger

Did you know the car comes with a Tilton Super Starter and two-piece aluminum hat rotors?  Also a spare oil pan and a parts oil dry sump pump.
