With only promises of a chance of a track at Castrol or Edmonton City centre we need some other action.  NASCC has arranged for 3 or 4 events depending upon your expressed level of interest.  We need to hear back from you in order to make these events happen.

Saturday, May 26 Test and Tune on half track at CFB Edmonton
We need 10 registrations for a price of $140 each.  We will have to cancel by May 19 if we do not get ten registrations.  We can charge $100 each if we get 15 or more registrations.
Write nascc.events@gmail.com to indicate your interest.

Race School, Saturday May 26.  We will try again to offer a race school.  If we get 15 registrations by May 15 we will set up a race school.  If not enough interest is shown by then we will not be able to run.

Eurasia Cup GT Invitational at the Edmonton Indy, July 20-22.  Check out www.nascc.ab.ca for this exciting racing event.

Alberta Race Championship, July 28 & 29, on the full track at CFB Edmonton.
This is the annual NASCC Racing on the Runways 2012
We hope this will be the first WCMA sanctioned race weekend of the season, with more to come at Castrol Raceway or at City Centre Airport.  But it might be the only race of the season besides the Indy, as everyone is still waiting to hear about the other sites.  To run this event we need 21 registrations by July 4.  For each class type, open wheel, closed wheel, and vintage, we need at least 7 registrations by July 4, or that class type will not be scheduled to run.  We are looking at using the new SCCA IT-J class rules to allow chump and LeMons cars to run as a class type, in the event we do not get enough registrations for one of the other classes.  (WCMA approved cages, Hans devices, and WCMA licenses will be required, so sign up for the race school (see above) if you Chump  and LeMons drivers need a WCMA license)
Yes we know it is only a week after Indy, but this is the date the base would give us.  We can arrange for out of towners to store their race car and rig in Edmonton over the week between the Indy and CFB Edmonton if you ask early, and nicely.
