Hoping for a miracle.  It isn't over until it's over.

This doesn't surprise me .  The economy has no direction: some are doing better than ever ( what recession or slow down?)  and others are struggling and see no light at the end of the tunnel.  It's a dog's breakfast out there.

It's a terrible shame to see it go because it is often so hard to get a major motorsport event back into your community.  Once it's gone it's often gone for good! Very sad day!

Crap-a-rama !!!!!

With the Indy gone, and one year left at RCMP, the racing gods are sure sticking it to us.

There is talk of the IRL wanting to maintain 17 races, and wanting to keep western Canada happy, so maybe if we sacrifice a goat, or maybe even a nubile virgin, they might see their way to have a street course race in Calgary.... :-\

Street race in Calgary??  Wouldn't they have to spend a gazillion dollars fixing the pot holes? ;D  Too bad about the loss of the Indy race we know the pain.  Cheers from the wetcoast.

Great News...now the lobbying can start to let the Sports Racers in if NASCC is invited to be a part of it... ;D
