This maybe the last opportunity for an advanced driving school at Race City Motorsport Park. This is a one day school organized by Alberta Advanced Driving schools. The initial intent is to have a school for women only. At the two previous fall Ladies Only school attendance was strong and everyone had a good time.
There is excellent classroom instruction from the same instructors that run the AADS BMW Spring school and many of the senior instructors are also instructors at the ARCA/WCMA competition licensing school.
The on track sessions are based on 2 formats: Ist is the skid school/serpentine/collision avoidance/braking exercises in the morning and the 2nd format is then full lapping of the 2 mile road course in the afternoon.
Participants will have lots of track time and there will be an experienced instructor in the car with you at all times..
Ladies, if you want a chance to drive on a closed circuit, in Alberta, this maybe your last opportunity for a few years if Race City closes this year.
It is a tax deductable education expense.
