Dear Affiliated Regions and Series Officials,
It has recently been found that some retailers are now offering 5-point SFI Racing Safety Harness belts, but does not indicate the manufacturer, only that it is manufactured in China. Since the origin of the belts cannot be verified SFI has recommended not to accept them. Following these recommendations, we have updated the National Regulations to specify the manufacturer label must be displayed in addition to the SFI label.
