I am thinking on booking a dust off day / test day at Castrol in May, I am hoping for an equal amount of open wheel and tin tops. say 5 and 5, half hour test sessions per group. Looking for a Friday through Monday target day if possible. No idea as to what the cost is or will be as yet. Interested parties please respond here and I will followup with you. Thanks.
OK, 2 OW cars and 2 sedans have committed so far. The run groups wills be Closed wheel, Open wheel starting at 9:00 am on the day we will select once we get a few more committed. The June 3 week is the target week.If this gets moved to a weekend test day the costs will go up marginally as per the tracks fee increase.
We will go to a max of 12 cars. Ideally 6 CW and 6 OW / open cockpit SR's.
3 more to the list. we now have 5 OW cars and 2 sedans, room for 5 more cars. The target week is June 3 through to June 6. Once we get a few more we cars committed will pin down the date but so far it looks like the day will be June 6th. once we get 12 cars confirmed, registration will close and deposits will be asked for. C'mon racers, a practice day, new track surface!
June 3, a Monday is the track day. 50 % deposit must accompany your reservation. it may or may not be refundable based on the track deciding that we have a "rain out" or not, this is the only thing that will present a cancellation...well, snow I guess could cause a CXL of the day and in June .... who knows?

6 Open wheel / open cockpit cars. 2 sedans. Room for 4 more. Deposits or full payment (preferred) need to be in by Monday latest. Refund policy as per Castrol policy. Cost is 4K for the track, $905 for insurance. $410 for the day, per car. you are responsible for the full amount once you commit to the group regardless of participation unless of course its a rain out or weather delay then we get a rain check from the track, NO REFUND! C'mon racers. We could have more of one car type than the other but a balance of 6 and 6 would be ideal. set up at 8:00 AM, track open at 9:00. rotation; Sedan, OW, Sedan, OW etc., 30 minute sessions, each group to ensure the other group gets equal time. Standard no racing policy, testing only.
Thanks to those who are coming so far. We need 12 though. If not, only solution is higher per car cost, that will be a group decision if need be.
