Saturday July 25 sees the inaugural running of the Leduc Alberta 1000 kilometer Road Race, proudly presented by the Leduc Nisku VLT Operators Group, and the Land Automotive Dealers Group. There is $10,000 of prize money in the purse. In the paddock area there will also be motorcycle demonstrations and other activities throughout the day. The race starts at 9 am, and goes 1000 km or 12 hours, whichever comes sooner.
On Friday July 25 we will have a race license school, celebrity racing, and a test and tune for LA1K participants.
There will be lots of room for spectators, and the two day event has an entry fee of $20. Come out and support the NASCC and racing at Castrol.
We still have lots of room for race entries, and some teams are still looking for drivers. We are also in need of instructors for the road race school, who must hold a WCMA race license and have taught the school in the past.
