I can confirm as of Saturday at 7:00 pm there were no Curbs installed at the track. Lots of muddy holes, but no curbs.

Thanks Trent. I heard a while back there was a move to install them this year. has that plan been scrapped? do you know if they will be down in 2014? thanks

Hi Blair,

Castrol Raceway staff have been working very hard on the track and each time I have been up there ( 6 trips from  Calgary this year) they have completed a lot more work.  Roger Peart ( ASN Canada FIA) met with Castrol staff in late June to discuss the kerbing.  I believe they are still awaiting the drawings or confirmation on the type (s) and where. The week prior to the very successful LA1K event Castrol made some major changes to T1 and a few minor changes elsewhere.  These changes had to be completed prior to any kerbing installation. Castrol Raceway is working hard to meet their next alteration goals.
