Passing of a Legend and fellow member

It is with great sadness that I announce the passing of a fellow club member and racer. At 4:22am this morning Helga Herbst lost her battle with cancer and passed away with her family at her side. Many of you will remember her as the Racing Grandmother who participated in Solo I (Solosprint) as well as supporting her husband, John Herbst, at Road Race events and volunteering at various motorsport events as well as BMW club functions.

She will be sadly missed and there will be a celebration of her life at the  Austrian-Canadian Club on Monday January 26 at 1:30pm for anyone who would like to share in the memories.
