some possible topics for disscussion at the AGM. some more  refinement of the IT rules.
- fuel cell requirements for ITGT class.
-define temporary, catch all status of ITGT class cars.
-possible time limit for cars in ITGT class, 3yrs, then move to GT class.
-other IT classes, fair or not.
-possible move upper limit of IT2 class down to 2500cc.
-dicuss  max tire size per class, to make competition closer.
-add more factors to calculate.
 -4 valve on a single cam =.95
- change any other factors?
-4 cyl vs 6 cyl with similar displacement, need a factor?
-discuss proposed cam rule
-windsheild tabs and straps for ITGT.
these are just some ideas to dicuss, I dont have answers for them but thought they should be discussed.
I was concerned( dissappointed) with number of competitor that had no clue of rules. should we make a waiver( cant think or the proper word) type of  form that they sign to prove they have read them. or make them carry a copy of rules when they go thru tech                      please add more ideas.

Thanks Gary for initiating this discussion.

Yes, I agree with your concerns about some competitors who have never read the preparation rules.  That was an issue when I was WCMA's Race Director back in 1995. It has always made me shake my head.

If any one has any issues about how the points are awarded or have any technical issues please bring them forward.
However, if you have concerns or feel changes are needed please provide your suggestions or recommendation or solutions well in advance of the WCMA AGM race session so other participants can either agree or disagree with your suggestions for changes.

Solutions are always welcome - lets' build a better mouse trap..

Competitors it is your competition....if you only want to race yellow cars you can do that...as long as you do not compromise safety.

This is your time to shape things for the 2011 season.

Regarding the ITGT issues, in the interest of not spending the whole day on it again. I suggest the ITGT competitors that show up be directed to group up and discuss and come up with solutions to the concerns that have been brought up. A sub committee of ITGT competitors if you will.

Because the factors are only used for cars not on the ITCS, i think we actually need to apply ourselves to updating the ITCS, cars that were competitve or not can then be reclassed and weighted accordingly, SCCA's ITCS was updated and not included in this years version, it may solve most of the concerns/problems we had this year. Cars that ran this year and are not on the ITCS need to reviewed and classed based on competitiveness, lap times, potential.

What would the cost be to have binded WCMA copies of the rules as part of your license each year???

Limiting tire size is something we discussed previous as well, i personally don't think size is the answer but to put back into the rules which "got lost somewhere" max rim width would be something to consider.

I'm sure i got more

I agree Dave, with the meeting part.  I also agree with reclassing some of the ITGT cars back into the existing classes.  However, somewhere in the translation of last years discussion ALL cars were reclassed, including the ones already included in the ITCS.  This is my problem.  It is the wrong thing to do.

I like it.  allow only yellow race cars!

But my yellow one is broken... ;)

And I agree with breaking the ITGT group out into a separate meeting.

My discussions with various ITGT drivers, and various officials reminded me that ITGT was always meant to be a catchall class, on a very temporary basis. How odd that it has become one of the biggest classes in the field....!
