Hello all,

I am wondering if any of you would be interested in renting the Spokane road course for a 2 day test, tune? it would be open to tin tops, vintage and open wheel cars. Try to run 20 - 25 minute sessions, tin top, OW, vintage or some combination thereof.

I am checking on rental cost, track availability and so on. Could be a Friday, Saturday thing or a Saturday, Sunday thing. We would also make it open for any locals to participate as well. Anyway if interested please reply here and if enough interest I will pursue it further. Thanks.

April or May, we just need a few people (8 -10) to respond. Very expensive to rent a track with one or two racers. I thought a few more replies would have come in by now Bri! Once we get, if we get more interest I will pin down a date that works for the masses.

Try emailing Miles' group directly.  That may help.  I am NOT available May 10-14.

Bri,

I dont have Miles group email contacts and besides MIles is away for who knows how much longer and I would only hope they can make decisions in his absence. This is trying to get one or two track days going! I cant believe no other racers are not interested in going to test / tune! We have nothing in Alberta, Mission is too small for high horsepower cars, cement walls and the like and plus its farther to travel to than Spokane! It's pathetic given all the dollars guys, girls, teams have invested. It's no wonder the state of racing in this province is where it's at. We have volunteers at the ready but the racers / competitors are lethargic it seems.

I'm sure Im going to roast with this post but so be it! Racers wake up, its an 8 hour tow, a beautiful track, a great drive that goes by quick.

Hi Blair,

A few of us are already booked with Scott, but I suspect there are no open wheel cars?

If I had the Radical here, I'd bring it but as of now, looks like I'll be keeping it at Spring Mountain for the summer. Just can't justify bringing it back this year.

If anyone is interested in a few days down there (I know, it's a long haul), let me know and we can set something up. Got a few open wheeler's already looking at coming down for a few days in May. Can run around with other race cars or sports cars. Always 3 run groups - race, sports cars (tin tops), novice.
