Setting Avatars?

I have tried several times to put in an avatar since we went to the new web board.  I can not make it work.  In fact, Brooke seems to be the only one who has managed to set an avatar. Can this be fixed?  Or can instructions that work be provided?  Whenever I do try, and I have tried several different ways, I get the following message.
"The attachments upload directory is not writable. Your attachment or avatar cannot be saved."

We don't host the board - Motorsports Marshalling Services in Ontario does.  Applications are being taken for a new WCMA webmaster....

Not sure I understand your response.  Are you saying that if it is broken we have no one to fix it right now?

Yes. I don't have the personal bandwith to run a board, so Marcel Fryters of Motorsport Marshalling Services in Ontario has hosted our board since, well, when we began the website. The only thing MMS hosts is the board though - all the rest is hosted and published by us. When you are on the board, if you look up at the address, you will see it is www.motorsportmarshalling.on.ca etc, etc.

When you are on the site itself, it is at www.wcma.ca

I fixed an admin setting.  Try doing an avatar now.
