> Attached you will find the NSC's second newsletter.  With the start of
> the solosport season rapidly approaching, the NSC have several
> announcements we would like the SoloSport community to know about.  We
> would appreciate if you would help pass on these pieces of news to
> your club as well as others within the SoloSport community who may be

> AutoSlalom: The NSC has adopted the SCCA AutoSlalom regulations on
> Vehicle Classification, PAF factors and vehicle classes for the ASN
> Canada FIA National AutoSlalom Regulations effective immediately.  The
> other portions of the ASN National Regulations will remain in force.
> Two consequences of this decision are that the 2011 CAC (see
> announcement attached) will run using the new regulations and the ASN
> National Regulations as posted on the ASN web site will be updated to
> reflect the decision as quickly as possible following yesterday's
> formal acceptance by SCCA of ASN Canada FIA's request to adopt
> portions of their AutoSlalom Regulations.

> SoloSprint/Time Attack:  The NSC has approved the merging of the ASN
> National SoloSprint Regulations with the ASN Time Attack Regulations
> with the aim of retiring the National SoloSprint Regulations.  For the
> present time, both sets of regulations will remain in force while the
> final details of wording of the new single set of National Regulations
> are completed.  However, when the final set of Time Attack regulations
> are ready, they will come into immediate effect.  The concept is to
> have the new regulations to incorporate both passing and non passing
> in competition where the region or the organizer to determine if
> passing will be allowed at a particular event.  The 2011 ASN Canada
> FIA National Time Attack Championship (see announcement attached).
