Helmets – FIA Technical List N⁰ 25

Helmets Recognized to be used without Front Head Restraints
(Applies to limited Ice Racing Classes, Lapping and HPE)
The WCMA will follow FIA Technical List N⁰ 25.
(Snell SA2010, SAH2010 and SA2015 until 31.12.2023 and SA2005 until 31.12.2018)

Helmets Recognized to be used with Front Head Restraints
The WCMA will follow FIA Technical List N⁰ 25 as well as the allow the use of following standards;
Snell SAH2010 until 31.12.2023
Snell SA2015 until 31.12.2023
Snell SA2010 until 31.12.2023, however it is highly recommended that SA2010 are also certified to FIA
8858-2002 or FIA 8858-2010 and the competitors have ensured their helmets are acceptable for use
with FHR

Notes:
FIA updates to FIA Technical List N⁰ 25 or changes in ASN Canada's position on the subject of testing for
use with FHR may require the WCMA to revisit this topic and as such it highly recommend that
competitors only buy helmets with proof of FHR testing (Snell SAH2010, SA2015, or one of the accepted
FIA standards).
