2011 Regs are posted on the website

Hi Racers,

The 2011 race regulations are now posted on the website, http://www.wcma.ca.  Following the suggestions at the last AGM, the ITGT class has been split into a ST-U and ST-O class.

Hello Tech Committee,

I just noticed an inconsistency in Section 3 - SPORT TOURING REGULATIONS (page 28) part 2- Eligibility.

In Example 1
       2302cc X Stock induction (1.0) x non-stock Camshafts (1.05) = 2417cc new displacement

and then in the table at the top of page 29 the Displacement Factor (DF) for Non Stock Camshafts is 1.15

which would make the new displacement in the  Example = 2647cc

Could someone please clarify?

based on what I read I think that is a typo, I would go with the 1.15 displacement factor.

It's been noted and a bulletin will be issued to address this and a few other typos.
Considering the number of drafts this year i think it looks pretty good.

I think it looks great, despite the typo.

Seems like it will be a great class with lots of cars and the re-write you did should help leveling the playing field.

I think down the road WCMA should re-visit setting weight via dyno and scale reports. Seems to work elsewhere and I think in the end there is no formula that will work with every car. Normalizing power to weight makes for some inncredibly tight racing. But I think it is a huge improvement and I look forward to seeing the results! Should make for some great racing.

Just wondering when the ITCS is going to be released.  If I need to add/lose weight, it will take some prep time and setup change.
