ASN CANADA RESIGNED FROM THE FIA

A few days ago WCMA was notified ASN Canada had resigned from the FIA.

We have limited information on the reasons for this.

Following is what we know:
•   ASN Canada FIA Inc. is officially done on December 31st, 2019
•   Event insurance will be continued through to March 31st 2020 as per the contract
•   Planning is underway to establish new leadership group, with FIA support.
•   New Federal NFP association has been registered.
•   Negotiations underway with Stonebridge for uninterrupted insurance coverage through new association.
•   All licenses processed before December 31st, 2019 will have full standing for 2020.
•   WCMA is working to clarify what needs to be done regarding licensing after that date.

Please be patient as this is a lot on new information and WCMA is trying to process it as fast as we can.

WCMA will keep everyone updated as we work toward the creation of a new ASN.
