MEMORIAL ARRANGEMENTS FOR BARRIE MAIN

Following is the obituary regarding Barrie's memorial on Thursday evening.  Barrie's sister, Heather, planned this memorial for his friends in the motorsport community.  She would really like to meet many of you.  I hope you can attend to show her what Barrie meant to us.

MAIN , Robert Barrie November 19, 1944 - May 4, 2010 Barrie Main of Calgary passed away on Tuesday, May 4, 2010 at the age of 65. Barrie was born in Victoria, BC and had lived in Calgary for over forty years. He was a Senior Analyst in the Department of Administrative Systems at the University of Calgary until his retirement. Barrie is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Heather and Tad Nishimura of Atherton, California; and nephews, Marc, Andrew, and Curtis Nishimura. He was predeceased by his parents, Alex and Lily Main. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY'S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Thursday, May 13, 2010 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com . If friends so desire, donations may be made to the Barrie Main Memorial Travel Fund at the Western Canada Motorsport Association, Attention Dave Fowler, 3908 - 134 Avenue, Edmonton, AB T5A 3J8.
