2015 High Performance & Competition Licensing School
The annual NASCC race license school will be held at Castrol Raceway on Saturday and Sunday, May 9 and 10, 2015. If you ever wanted to race this a great deal & an excellent opportunity to improve driving skills, and to learn the basics needed to get a WCMA race license.  The registration fee is $630 for a two day combined classroom and race track experience, with an instructor in the car with the student for almost all of the on track time. To register, use the MotorsportReg page, through the NASCC website event registration page: http://nascc.ab.ca/event-registration/
Email nascc.events@gmail.com with any questions you may have.

NASCC Race Volunteers

Race Volunteers make events happen-from the organizers of the event to the person taking your ticket; it takes a lot of people to make an event work.  Road Racing Cars Volunteer Positions: Clerk of the Coarse, Steward, Starter, Chief Coarse Marshal, Corner Captain, Communicator, Yellow Flagger, Blue flagger, Safety, Pre-grid, Pit in & Pit out, Rescue personnel: Ambulance crew, Fireman & Clean-up Crew Tow Truck driver, Pace Car Driver, Timing personnel, Scrutineer (Tech), Registration & Back Gate.  With training & experience in regional events you can get you qualified to work National & International events.
Remember watching racing can fun but being part of the race is even better. So if you are not racing come-out and volunteer the second best way to watch a race, the best way is to be in the driver's seat.
The Northern Alberta Sports Car Club (NASCC) Marshal School will be held at 8:30am at Castrol Raceway on Sunday May 10, 2015 that will coincide with the driving school.  Please arrive by 8:15am. Directions to the school will be available at the gate or follow the NASCC signs that should be out.
Whites are not mandatory for the school but would be recommended as we will be on the track to practice with the drivers in the afternoon.  No Red, Yellow, Blue, Black or Green clothing should be worn and please dress for typical Edmonton weather.
Please RSVP to traceymcewing@shaw.ca if interested in school or if you have any questions. They need a head count as they need pre-order lunches and arrange seating. Feel free to bring extra snacks and beverages. There will be graduation certificates for all that attend.
